14 competitors providing excellent competition and quite a sight for spectators and passing members of the public.  Many thanks to Simon Dwyer and his team for managing the racing for us in the moderate North Easterly breeze.

The Trophy was awarded to Clive Cockayne in the Emsworth Slipper Club room by Peter Hankey, who donated the trophy to the ERS a few years ago and was a spectator for the mornings racing.

Competition at the top was close and after the penultimate race (Race 7) the top three were on equal points, meaning the Trophy win was down to the last race.  This was clinched by Clive Cokayne winning with a total of 10 points, closely followed in 2nd by Steve Cockerill on 11 points and Dave Cockerill in 3rd on 13 points.  Well done, Clive.

P.s. Is this what happens when the back stay is too tight, or was it the wrong type of glue ?
