Both Nigel Barrow and Simon Fairman competed in the IOM ranking events at Lincoln over last weekend.
A weekend of two halves , Day one, very light and fluky making it a nightmare for Race officer Darin B , only three races were completed.
Day two brought out the Sun more breeze and many more races.
Nigel finished in P4 just behind James Hadden from Gosport, whilst Simon managed a very creditable P23. As usual they were both competing against the top skippers in the country, who provide tough and unyielding competition.
That leaves them in p8 and p39 respectively in the National rankings for the One Metre class boats year to date. Brilliant and well done to Nigel and Simon.
