On February 16th, under glorious sunshine and a cheeky, fresh breeze, six adventurous women and Bill Chalker gathered at Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club ready to try something completely new — Radio Controlled sailing! None of them had ever held the controls of an RC boat before (and one was just beginning her sailing journey altogether!), but that didn’t stop the excitement.
